I couldn't agree with you more. President Carter's comments reflect the "Old South mentality", not the true measure of our dissent regarding the true issues with which we are dealing. Mrs. President Clinton was unable to force us (the public) into buying into a faulty plan that had nothing to do with race and I hope that President Obama and his constituents will take note of that and discontinue using the "race card" to intimidate those who disagree with his program - not his color.

Consider it done. It is my prayer that all three of them will find Jesus. Only he can satisfy the longing in their souls. This worlds culture only gives you a broken heart and shattered dreams. The peace Jesus gives alone can calm the spirit.

My children have this friend, and i must confiss after years of knowing him him is also my friend and at times thought as one of my children.His name is Tommy Cannon. On apr 1 he was hit riding on 5th ave. in st.petersburg, fl.he for his age was a very experienced rider and having lost his one and only sibling to a motorcycle accident, knew full well the risk. Tommy loves to ride and you can tell. Tommy is currently in bayfront hosp in icu.his friends are praying for him, but i fear he needs more help than his friends and family can give. If you have room for an extra prayer tonight Tommy Cannon could use it.

I have trouble liking anyone who likes themselves as much as Rush. You are right Bible Biker, the problem goes much deeper than throwing uncontrolled money at badly run companies.

We are in a difficult time. The Republicrats all sound alike in the way they WALK but differ in the way they TALK!

40% of the Earmarks in the Budget came from Republicans who are decrying them! They talk a good game, but when
the Republicans were in power, they ran up big deficits and spent money the same way they rail against the Democrats for doing.
They had their time to govern, and blew it by overspending and NOT DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO.

Now it's the Democrats turn. To me, they need to get back to basics by fixing the ROOT AND NOT THE BRANCHES OF THE PROBLEMS. Fix the problem by living within our means and stop spending money we don't have! Too simple isn't it!

How true these words are today, even more than in the 1800's when they were written!
Jesus is our HOPE! In him we will receive all things! I'm keeping my eyes on him, and LOOKING UP!
