Brother Biker Bob Passes Away

Brother Bob Shaner passed away soon after my last post requesting prayer for him. His funeral was a wonderful reflection of Bob's life. Lot's of music, laughter and tears. We certainly want to give our condolences to the family and all those who knew and loved him. He was a very positive man who was much loved in his church and the biker community. Rest in peace dear brother. Cancer can't hurt you now, for you are in the hands of a loving God. His life is hid with Christ in God, and like Paul, he will receive a crown of Gold placed personally on his head by the Lord Jesus Christ when he comes a second time. The next time we see Bob, we will all be riding on angels wings up into the sky for our road trip home! Even so come quickly Lord Jesus, Amen!

The Bible Biker Blogger Runs Out of Gas!

It seems my gas tank ran out of gas the last six months and I need to give you an explanation. Last fall I conducted and evangelistic series and God blessed us with many baptisms. Souls were saved, lives were changed and Christ's death and resurrection were proclaimed. God deserves the glory for all the good that was done by the church. New Christians take a lot of love and support. On top of that the devil attacked the new members and the wolves tried to harm God's lambs. It's a full time job being a shepherd of the flock! On top of all that, somehow I tore the Labrum cartilage in my hip and have been in physical therapy. I may have to have an operation soon to fix it. Be sure of this, I will keep you up to date. We have my testimony and the first lesson on there and will be adding over thirty programs. The Bible Biker Radio Program is a series of Bible Studies on all the major topics of the Bible done in a new and unique way. Happy New Year America!
As we venture into a new year much has changed in America. For the better? Some things. Some things have gotten worse.

Banking: It's better for the bankers and worse for the consumers. You can only get a home equity loan now for up to 70 percent of the value of your home. Translation, all our real estate values have been lowered by 30 percent. Small businesses can't get loans. But the large banks were bailed out by the taxpayer so money would be freed up. It was; FOR THEM AND NOT US! The banks have made it much more expensive to have a credit card. They have drastically reduced consumer credit limits and raised interest rates and fees to cover all their "costs of doing business". The pendulum has really swung way too far in the other direction. My hope is that this will level out in time. My hope is that interest rates won't skyrocket next year as it did during the Carter presidency. Keep hope alive!

Terrorism: Our government no longer calls them that. They are now "extremists". There is no longer a "war on Terrorists" it is now called "A Man Made Disaster". When an Alchieda trained terrorist goes on a plane and almost blows up 300 Americans he is called by our President "A Lone Extremist". I like President Obama and pray for him daily, but to pretend we are not at war is dangerous and naive. This Nigerian terrorist was talking and telling us about the operation until the attorney general Eric Holder decided to try him as a civilian in US Court and gave him a lawyer. Now he is not talking because his lawyer told him not too. The actionable intelligence he could have provided about other bombers who may attempt to kill us is now lost. The administrations says he "may open up" later to "plea bargain". So he will talk in a year or two so he can get a lower sentence? This is insane! This is very dangerous!

Jobs: Americans have now achieved double digit unemployment. The policies in place that are going to impose huge health care costs on employers, raise taxes on them and make getting loans almost impossible will all work together to keep that unemployment rate high and jobs low for the foreseeable future. I wish we could hope for a better outcome, but the rules of economics don't change just because you talk a lot about how much compassion you have for the unemployed. The "evil rich" are the ones who create the jobs for the workers in our country. As long as one party rams legislation through with Zero minority support, you can expect unemployment to stay high. Will our politicians ever "get it"? Will the days where they work together for the good of the nation ever return? Is the only way to hope for the change you all wanted for the better to happen to throw them all out and start over?

Religion: It seems that Hollywood is now enamored with "All Things Mayan". The Tree of Life dominates their religion so Hollywood is now reading their prophecies and make the Sacred Tree a theme. The trees are not God! The Creator who made them is! Pantheism is alive and well in Hollywood today! The Christian Church is being attacked on all sides and anything Muslim or Mayan is wonderful! They love to portray Christians in almost every production as bigots who are ignorant and evil and yet are very reverent toward any religion that isn't Judeo-Christian in nature. Remember the bible people in the last days believing "fables". One thing you can count on this year; The Bible! Read it, and try to apply it in your own life. Build your life upon it! Don't pay attention to the Hollywood fables they are peddling. Build your house on the solid rock of God's Word. It's more important to be biblically correct than politically correct! The bible tells us that evil men will wax worse and worse, and that this world is passing away. Don't look to the world for your answers, look to God! If Jesus comes this year, and you have a relationship with him, THAT WOULD BE THE BEST CHANGE OF ALL!

President Carter stated the obvious and was not helpful

President Jimmy Carter comes from a generation that watched terrible conflicts between the old south and African Americans. His generation tends to view things from that perspective. Young people in their twenties and thirties don't see a racial slant in every conflict or discussion. Many older southerners who are trying to get past the old ways feel tremendous guilt about what happened in their region. While racism is still a problem in America, President Carter's remarks where he stated anyone who opposed this health care bill were racists was not helpful. Many people simply disagree with THIS bill. Let's not forget that an overwhelming number of White Americans elected our youthful president. The country has moved beyond the old race bating days. The highest form of Patriotism is dissent, at least according to Thomas Jefferson. During the Bush Administration Democrats had no problem quoting that statement. The Clinton's fared no better in the health care arena than President Obama is. It is not race based, it's generational in nature and the seniors are not standing for their Baby Boomer children taking away their health care in the name of "fairness". Black or White they don't like the PLAN MAN!

Everyone agrees the system has to be changed. They keep saying they agree on 80 percent of it. Well, pass the 80 percent and do the rest next year. That would be MY approach. Our politicians are bent on passing a bill that has thousands of pages and has been read by no one. It has all been negotiated behind closed doors and passes out billions in pork for key senators from Louisiana and Nebraska. It even exempts Nebraska from the Medicare cuts it imposes on the other states, just to get the senators vote. It has NOT been transparent, and it very well may cause our country to have deficit problems for a century. And Why? So the government can take over the health care industry as it has the auto industry. We were promised BI-PARTISANSHIP. Not one minority vote for the present bill! WHY? It's being imposed by a majority that couldn't care less about their oppositions ideas. Is this the kind of change Americans voted for? I think not. Pass something good! Do something unselfish and for the good of the country. If you don't I can assure you Americans are in no mood to be forgiving. The next election whoever doesn't listen to the will of the people will be doing something else for a living! It is my hope that they will rise to the challenge and pass the 80 percent. Hope is nice, rarely realized, but at least it keeps the future open for change. Please surprise us Senators! Redeem yourselves House Members! We need you more than you know. It's only a short time to the midterm elections, and we are watching you. We have lost hope in you. Please prove us wrong!

Obama Care or Nothing There! Help!

The Nation is in a state of exhaustion over the health care proposals being discussed. Both sides are demagoguing the issues to the point of being absurd. Do Everything! Do Nothing! Who doesn't have insurance? Is it 80 million? So say some Dems. 15 Million? So say the Repubs. Can you keep your present plan? Yes-NO! Both sides demonizing the other, and both misrepresenting the facts like politicians do. We are all "sick" and tired of it. Make it like car insurance: Mandatory, Portable (Able to cross state lines for sales) and set up pre-tax health accounts that people can keep if they don't spend. Tort reform must be a part of any plan. Lawyers drive costs through the roof and doctors out of the busyness. The Dems have not shown any inclination to being bi-partisan. The Repubs have put forth many of the proposals I have mentioned, but no one is in the mood to work together. Remember when the welfare of the country came first? People like Reagan and Tip O'Neil would "compromise" and actually do something to help the country. Work together, and improve the situation before Medicare goes bankrupt! We can't continue letting health care costs go through the roof, nor can we afford to have millions without insurance. And don't tell me they can go to the emergency room and get care! The poor often avoid the check ups and timely care because they can't afford to pay. Millions of working poor die too soon because they don't get the care they need. The life expectancy in the US is around 136th in the world. France is 10th. The people of France have a combination of Capitalism and Government care and the people like it. What are they doing right? We've all heard about Brittan. Fine if it doesn't work, do something else, but if it is working, give it a try. HEY Washing ton INSIDERS! COMPROMISE AND GET SOMETHING DONE!
I'm ready to be shocked and astounded by Congressional accomplishments! Dreaming? What do you expect I'm sleeping, from exhaustion!

The Iranian Government is Illegitimate and should be opposed by the USA

The government of Iran is illegitimate. President Bush was right when he called them part of the "Axis of Evil". President Obama's handling of the Iranian election has been appalling. While he was hiding under his desk, Iranian's who long for freedom have been butchered in the streets by a brutal dictator who is filled with hatred for Jew's and Americans. He is a denier of the holocaust and brutal in his treatment of his own people. The Presidents response has been weak and pathetic. He has invited the Iranian diplomats to come over to our embassies on the fourth of July for a barbecue. You have got to be kidding me!

It seems unbelievable that just 2 years ago when Bush was the president and the Republicans ran the senate we had 6 percent unemployment, a 12000 stock market, and we hadn't been attacked for 7 years. People talk about "how bad" it was then when Bush was in the white house. He called Iran part of the Axis of Evil and they said that was "Cowboy" diplomacy. He was exactly right.
Iran is evil. Our economy is going down like the titanic, the housing market has been ruined by Barney Frank and his band of merry madmen. The Democrats took over congress, put him in charge of the banking committee and the rest is history. Goodbye housing equity, 401K and our position of strength and leadership in the world. This is change I can hardly believe is happening!
If America isn't having second thoughts by now, we are going to be in for long period of decline. It's my prayer that they will wake up and change course before America as we knew it is gone forever. Fight for freedom Iranians! America may not be supporting you because they are asleep and loosing the very freedom's you are dying for. But fight anyway! Live Free or Die! May God be with you!

Cap and Trade Bill WAKE UP AMERICA!

The Cap and Trade bill the congress just passed is a disaster for America. Wake Up America! While you're sleeping you are being robbed blind! This is nothing but a sham! A way to take millions from our pockets with a hidden tax that will cost every home in America. They should call it the CAP AND TAX bill. You will be taxed on all energy you use and it will not create jobs, it will send millions of jobs overseas to China and India and other countries that refuse to participate in this global warming hoax. You will wake up and it will be too late to save the jobs you have shipped overseas because of this bill. This is like putting both arm behind your back, handcuffing yourself and then fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world!

Exciting News To Share!

It is with great pleasure that I share some fantastic news! The Review and Herald Publishing Association has agreed to publish a Bikers Steps to Jesus. This is an excellent book on the basics of Christianity. I gave a copy of this book to my wife when we first met, and after reading it under a willow tree one spring day by a pond, she bowed her head and asked Jesus to come into her heart! They asked me to write the back cover copy and they used my motorcycle for the front cover. I have not seen the finished product yet, but the mock ups I have seen are very well done. It is my hope that Bikers everywhere will be given this book, and that thousands will find Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Please keep this project in your prayers. We are hoping to have it published by mid-June. It is my hope that there will be a link to the Bible Biker website so they can also contact someone if they need prayer or help. I have local and national links to CMA sites that they can contact. It's very exciting to think of the good that such a book will do! Miss America and Political Correctness

Miss America Has to be Politically Correct! Even though she was very polite, the runner up for Miss America was condemned and called a bi___ because she said she believed that marriage is only for a man and a woman, a position that 70% of American also believe. Are all those women who believe that also bi____? I don't think so. The blogger who called her names was not a gentleman no matter what his sexual preference was. There is no doubt that every major religion for thousands of years has taught it's people that same principle. But somehow thousands of years of religious instruction is out of style in modern America. It's so chique to be "accepting". So cool to have an "anything goes" mentality. Jesus said before the Son of Man returns, the world would become like "Sodom and Gomorrah". That prophecy is surely fulfilled judging from the lifestyles of so many people today. Every TV show, and Movie pushes the agenda that anything goes in the bedroom. If that is being open minded, in my opinion, it's so open your brain becomes a CIV. We should love and accept people and never discriminate against someone because they do things the Bible does not approve of, but we should be permitted to express our disagreement with the prevailing culture and not be punished for it. If the judge didn't want an honest answer they should have never asked the question. I'm proud that she had the courage to speak up. I'm sorry she was castigated by a rude, insensitive person. People on both sides of this issue need to be loving and kind to one another, and talk openly and honestly. Then show tolerance and graciousness to others who disagree with them. I love homosexuals and lesbians as much as I do my Christian friends, wish them only happiness and joy. Jesus is the only way to find it!

Resurrection Weekend and Prayer Request

Today I received this request from a woman named Nicole: "My children have this friend, and i must confess after years of knowing him he is also my friend and at times thought as one of my children.His name is Tommy Cannon. On apr 1 he was hit riding on 5th ave. in st.Petersburg, fl.he for his age was a very experienced rider and having lost his one and only sibling to a motorcycle accident, knew full well the risk. Tommy loves to ride and you can tell. Tommy is currently in bayfront hosp in icu.his friends are praying for him, but i fear he needs more help than his friends and family can give. If you have room for an extra prayer tonight Tommy Cannon could use it." Please put Tommy on your prayer list, and say a prayer for his healing.

Remember that on this Good Friday, Jesus died FOR YOU! Remember on this Sunday that Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD! He is the great healer, the life giver, and the Ruler of everything! He can heal physically and spiritually. Celebrate his Resurrection this weekend JESUS IS ALIVE! HALLELUJAH! Have a blessed weekend worshiping our RISEN LORD!

Our Apologist in Chief?

Since when does the President of the United States have to add to his list of duties; Apologist in Chief? Since now. President Obama feels the need to travel all over Europe and elsewhere declaring that the United States has been "arrogant", "dismissive", and "derisive" of the Europeans. That the United States has "gone it alone" when it comes to Europe. He then chided the Europeans for having a casual and insidious anti-Americanism. It's as if he is so ashamed to be George Bushes successor that he feels the need to apologize and to grovel. Doesn't he realize it demeans him to do that, and it demeans us as a nation. Had he said it to us to our faces it may have had a more palatable taste. But to go across the pond, and say it over there when he has never said it to us makes him seem small. The same way he criticized the citizens of Pennsylvania for "clinging to their guns and God", not to their face, but to the people in San Francisco. This pandering instinct seems to be a character flaw on a very deep level of his being.

Please Mr. President, focus on the economy, on helping the people who play by the rules, pay the debts in this country and are now having to pay for all the "Mortgage and 401K" theft that has been going on. Help the average Joe for a change. I have an idea for a bailout, buy a new car for every American that has a job, pays his mortgage and is not coming to you for money. That will create thousands of jobs in the auto industry, put money in American car companies ledgers and help the average working man in America. Guess what? It would do more for the country than the millions being wasted by paying off the same people who got us into the problem in the first place. Too simple, and it will never happen.

Finally, Mr. President, Lee Greenwood said it best; "I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free". The only thing I feel the need to apologize for is a president who has never served and has no clue of the price paid to win our freedoms. And "I won't forget the sacrifice of those who gave that right to me". God Bless America, and God help all of us, as we watch the country we used to love changed forever. Our children and grand children will pay for all this, and my hope is that God will help us recover our senses before it's too late, and our country is gone forever. The Bible hints of a one world, fascist government, where the government decides who works and who doesn't. No work without the "mark" of the government's authority? What a beast! What a Mark! What a country! May it not come to that until every creature has heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ! God Bless America!

Last Days Economy?

Last Days Economy? The bible talks about a time that is coming when every economic means of support will be cut off and people will have to live by faith. A time when there will be a one world economic system that will not allow yo to buy or sell unless you have a Mark; The Mark of the Beast. As we have watched the stock market plummet and housing values along with it, many have asked "Is this the beginning of the end of the world?"

All I can say is that if it isn't, it's a pretty good wake up call for all of us to get our priorities in order and think about the coming change. God has promised over 2000 times in the bible that Jesus would come again and take his people home. The President has been trying to deal with the economic issues and fend off criticism due to the tremendous spending the administration and congress is engaging in. The business community is not liking what they are hearing so far, and the numbers are reflecting that discontent.

Because of illegal, immoral tactics the value of our Retirement funds and homes have been plundered. Those of us who pay our bills and try to be good citizens are being stretched to our limit. Time will tell if spending money we don't have will result in new prosperity or more chaos. It has not worked in the past, and looks shaky for the future. Those who are committed in the market have no choice but to ride it out and hope for better days. Either way, Jesus will come, and this world will pass away! Watch and Pray!

Happy ST Patrick's Day too you! Please don't drink and drive! As an Irishman I like to encourage my fellow shamrocks to drive carefully and be sure to not ride if you're imbibing. We want to preserve you safe and sound for your friends and family. ST Patrick was a Bible Christian. He believed in the Second Coming, The Bible only, he kept Saturday as his Sabbath, and he was not a member of the Catholic Church. He was made a saint by them, but never served in the church. He was a protestant. However that being said, my Catholic family certainly claims him! He was such a wonderful, Godly man, that people admire him and want to be associated with him. He loved Jesus very much, and beginning his ministry at the age of 40 served God and converted Ireland in just 40 years! He is a hero of the Christian faith and a great example for all of us to follow. I've been to Ireland and visited some of the areas he preached and baptized. I've sat is tiny "churches" like he used to preach in and listened to his descendant tell stories about his ministry. He has many "spiritual" children. I am one of them. To me the most important thing about this day is that a Hero of the faith lived a life to be proud of. We can honor him only by following in his footsteps and serving others as he did.

The Bible is the Biker's Best Friend!

Biker's might not realize it, but the Bible is their best friend! Biker's are a rare breed. They face death and destruction and a daily basis. Jesus said there is a heaven and a hell. We all must face whatever lies beyond the grave. In the Bible a Biker can find a manual for planning his road trip into eternity. What road you take today can affect you're final destination. Often bikers become frustrated because there is so much in the bible and so many different churches out there. It can be very confusing. One of the best things you can do is get one of the modern translations that can help you to make sense of it. Take a few different bibles for a test drive. Get one you like and begin with the book of JOHN. It's a great place to start. Read the New Testament first, then the Psalms and Proverbs. Spend time every day and always pray to God and ask him to help you understand what you're reading. God has watched over his word and preserved it so you can find direction and peace in your life. When you don't know where to turn or what to do, God's word it there for you. You don't have to be a preacher or a theologian. Just an average person, with a prayerful heart, can go right into the Throne room of God, and find help anytime you need it. You're Bible just could be the best friend you've ever had!

Bike Week Daytona 2009; Prayer Request

Just got back yesterday from Daytona Beach Florida. Bike Week 2009 was not as crowded downtown this year. Many of the Bikers spent more time at Bruce's Harley dealership in Ormond Beach. Debbie and I had an opportunity to talk to lot's of Bikers and Vendors and we made some friends we hope to stay in touch with. We will put the pictures up sometime this week at my website www.BibleBiker.com We talked with a man who had the longest chopper in history, Kelly and John, talked with me about Jesus, and her pastor, Veronica said Hi since we already met at the easy rider bike show and Dan sat watching the Bikes go down Main street but stopped long enough to talk to Debbie and I about Jesus. Jan lost her voice, but took my literature as did Pockets, the big biker who rode a bike called "The Dragon Slayer".

Thousands saw our Christian Motorcyclists Association Back patches and beheld the cross and the Bible with hands praying. They could see that not everyone was of the "live eat and be merry for tomorrow we die" crowd. Some of us have found that the roar of the motorcycle, and the laughter of friends who are in the clouds fades away, and in the still small moments of the night, there is a huge empty space that biker lifestyle just can't fill. There is a deep need for something only Jesus can provide: PEACE! Real Peace! The kind the world can't give you. The kind where your sin's are forgiven and you are right with God and everyone else. The kind of peace that let's you sleep like a baby and wake up glad to be alive. How do you get this peace? Just ask the PRINCE OF PEACE to forgive you and to come into your heart and be your friend. Sounds to easy? It isn't!

Prayer Request
A Biker friend of mine named Patrick Murphy had an accident the other day. He broke his collarbone after going down on a sandy road. God was watching over him and people appeared on the scene to help him. His bike wasn't damaged too bad. Someone rode it home for him. Please Keep Pat in your prayers as he is recovering. He said he could actually breath today!

Rush Limbaugh Clarifies Comments

Rush Limbaugh clarified his comments that he "Hopes Obama Fails". He stated that he didn't hope for the country to fail, of for the United States to fail economically to prove Obama wrong in his policies. He stated that he didn't like the direction President Obama was taking the country in, and hoped his policies failed to lead America into socialism or Marxism. He said he believed the country was going in the wrong direction, and that if Obama failed the country would win, by not following him into more government control over capitalistic institutions. To raise taxes, and take over banks, control corporations by government intervention, all these things are against his principles and would bring disaster upon America in his opinion.

He may be right. It is my hope that America will succeed, and to do that, it will have to now correct a left leaning ship of state. President Obama has succeeded in changing the country by leading it in a distinctly left direction. Is he right in his assertion that big government is the right answer to lead us out of a recession and into prosperity? No according to Limbaugh. He is doing the exact opposite of what the country needs to be doing. Who is right? Rush? Obama? Time will tell. The contrast is startling and unmistakable. Will President Obama's "New Deal" be the answer, or Rush's Republican Revolution scheduled for 2012? Rush is convinced that Obama's plans will only bring America down economically. He believes when that happens the door will open for a new Regan Revolution, and the Republican candidate can take the country back. The result of Obama's leadership will be apparent by then. If Obama is right, and the country is thriving, he will be vindicated. If the country is struggling and sinking into an economic quagmire, then Rush could be prophetic in his pronouncements. We won't have to wait long for an answer. The country wanted changed, and change it has gotten. How long it will be believed in depends upon the results it manifests. Stay tuned and don't blink!

The Obama Economic Policies are Troubling

President Obama seemed to be governing from the Center until recent policy statements have caused me to be troubled by the direction we are heading in. Raising taxes in the middle of a severe economic downturn is bad enough, but to seriously consider dropping or severely curtailing the Mortgage Interest Deduction, and eliminating many deductions for Charitable Contributions causes me to be even more disturbed. This is sending the exact WRONG MESSAGE to the people who make this economy and country great. Small business's account for most of the jobs created in America. Many charitable organizations are struggling as it is in a tough economy and to threaten to take away their deduction at this time will deal many a fatal blow.

What happened to "Go slow" "be Cautious" "Govern from the Center"? Sadly Obama is proving his critics right by moving the country in a far left way very quickly. We will see in a year or so how this all plays out, but judging by the plunging stock market, SO FAR IS NOT SO GOOD!. If he continues down this path, I'm afraid he just may prove critics like Rush Limbaugh right, and we may be headed for "Jimmy Carter PART II " Economically. Jimmy was a wonderful person, but a failed president by any economic standard. President Obama would do well to learn the lessons of history, and not repeat Carter's mistakes. If he doesn't he is doomed to repeat them.

Daytona Beach Florida; Bike Week 2009

Daytona Bike Week 2009 got off to a chilly start! It has been COLD! I must have brought the cold with me from Ohio because it has been in the 30's and 40's so far. It was 7 degrees in Ohio, so I am counting my blessings! Already I have met many wonderful bikers, vender's and Christian Brothers and Sisters. People have welcomed my handouts and have been more receptive to the gospel this year. There was "Patches" with his huge "Dragon Slayer" Chopper, Veronica whom I met at Columbus Easy Rider show, Kelly and John who talked with me about Jesus for a half an hour, and posed in front of the "Worlds Largest Chopper" and Jan who lost her voice yelling over the motorcycles next to the Skeleton! Pictures to follow when I get back! So many bikers, needing the true peace and joy only Jesus can bring. Some have condemned me for going to these events because of the things that go on there. There is much to decry, but to me it's a wonderful fishing hole for men. Jesus told me to go there, and teach all men and women about his plan for their lives. So I go, and do a little to help. I watch my brothers in CMA do far more than I do to serve the bikers in need. I'm happy to support and publicize their great work on behalf o the biker community. Curse the Darkness or light a candle? Your choice!

Bible Biker Radio Ministry in the Works

We are in the midst of recording a radio program entitled THE BIBLE BIKER. We have two of the broadcasts done and only 34 more to go! I'm going to Bike Week in Daytona, so I'm sure it will be a month or two, but whatever we have done we will put up on the Web Site BibleBiker.com for you to enjoy. When I get back from Bike Week I'll have pictures and stories to share. The first broadcast is a brief testimony of how I came to know Jesus Christ. The rest will be teaching the Bible Biker lessons that are already available. I will put each lesson with the corresponding show so you can listen, read or both. Please pray that God will lead me to just the people he wants me to talk too. Jesus said to go and tell them what great things God has done for you and how he has had compassion on you. He has truly had mercy on me, and I want every Biker to experience the joy and peace I have found over the last 40 years!

Easy Rider Bike Show in Columbus Ohio

Last Sunday The Christian Motorcyclists Association and the Bikers for Christ amont others conducted a Sunday worship service for the bikers and vendors at the Easy Rider Bike Show. My part was to play the guitar and lead the song service. We doubled our attendance from last year, and I really enjoyed the program. Everyone did a good job lifting up Jesus as the Savior of the world. It's not about us, it's about them, ie. the Bikers and others who need Christ.

There were lots of killer bikes that really blew your mind. Bikes of every make and description. The Vietnam Memorial Biker was impossible to take in without spending hours. It was designed as a tribute bike to Vietnam Vets. More stuff gets added every year. It has an AK47 mounted on it, hand grenades, Clamor mines, and too many things to mention. We also had a CMA booth where we gave away free stuff like shop towels, literature and Candy. You can see a picture on the site of a grandma Biker with her cute little granddaughter. She liked our pamphlet for Kids. Cheryl and John were two veneers I met and talked with for a long time about Jesus. They were great. Then I met lot's of bikers, some of whom I had seen the week before at Bruce Dog Bite Hamilton's funeral. We had some great discussions, and everyone left with something that would help then on their Road to Christ. As I played guitar, blues, and Christian praise some of the guitar players stopped by, and we talked about Jesus as well. It was fantastic to see and meet so many interesting people. May God help all of them on their spiritual journey.

One thing I always enjoy is seeing Indian Larry's bikes, with all the twisted steel, inverted tanks and all his trademark, Old School genius. He is gone but not forgotten. He loved the question mark, because he was a seeker for truth. It is my prayer he found it, and is at peace with Jesus right now.
