Twisted Storms of Death and Distruction
The horrendous storms that ravaged the south last week are like a warning siren sounding in our ears; JESUS IS COMING SOON! Satan delights in causing death and destruction, and is trying to destroy lives and harm everyone he can because he knows his time is short. He is called "The prince of the air" and I blame him for all the loss of life and tragedy we see in this world.
God could prevent all this, and we are often tempted to blame him when we see these events. Even insurance companies call calamities "An Act of God". God certainly allows these events to take place and the buck does stop with him. But let us remember that sin and death was brought into this world by a devil and fallen man, and that God is part of the SOLUTION AND NOT THE PROBLEM! Remember in the story of Job, it was Satan who struck him down.
For whatever reason, God must allow this spectacle called Earth, and all it's ugly twists and turns to play out according to the Justice he is trying to bring about in the world. Soon he will come again and put an end to all this suffering and death. He must allow every person time to make a decision . When the flood took everyone away but 8 people, the Bible stated that "the thoughts and intents of their hearts were only evil continually". We are reaching that day again. When all men do is think and execute evil, when men have made their decision, and the last soul is saved, CHRIST WILL COME! I HOPE IT'S SOON, DON'T YOU?
